Creating online galleries

Online galleries consist of 2 content types:

  1. The parent 'Online exhibition' Content type. This can have a description of the exhibition itself.

    See this example

  2. The child 'Online exhibition galleries' content type that sit under the parent exhibit content. You can stick multiple galleries under the exhibitions.

    See this example

To set this up, you will first need to create the parent Online exhibition (click 'add content' from the content hub). Once you have created the exhibition parent, you can create a new content type for each of the galleries. On the galleries, you can then set the parent exhibition and, once published, the gallery will display under the parent.  Use the weightings to control the order they are displayed in.

Setting up notices

Notices are a type of content type that allows us to create banners above the pages to inform the public. Each notice can be set to display on a specific (or multiple) landing pages. To set them up, go to the content hub, click add content and select the notice content type.

You can now enter the information to setup the notice. The various types of notice will show up as per the below image.

Notice colour guide

The display schedule will allow you to set the notice for a specific time frame and disappear once it is no longer required.
