In focus - News room
The In Focus block is composed of 2 parts the top bar and bottom bar. The top bar consists of three pages of the “Audience / Campaign” content type, which will feature the audience campaign pages themselves. The bottom bar consists of one “Audience / Campaign” content (shown as the title only) and the 3 most recent news attached to this audience campaign.
How to select the content to show on the top bar?
In the audience/campaign content type that you wish to feature, click on the feature space tab and tick 'Show on in focus (newsroom)' and select the 'top bar' radio button.

How to select the content to show on the bottom bar?
The bottom row will feature one Audience / Campaign and its 3 selected articles. Note that this is a two step process to set this up.
- Link the articles to the audience / campaign. To link the articles, you go to the article content type and click the Pathway location & content tab. In the Audience / Campaign field, link the article to the audience campaign you want to display on the in focus panel. You can do this for as many articles as you choose, but only the 3 articles with the most recent publication date will be featured.

- Link the audience campaign to the bottom bar. To link the audience campaign to the bottom bar on the in focus panel the steps are nearly identical as setting it for the top bar. On the audience/ campaign page click the feature space tab and tick 'Show on in focus (newsroom)' and select the 'bottom bar' radio button.

Using the news highlights on the ANU Homepage
To make news articles feature on the ANU homepage, you have to edit the news articles themselves. Go to the relevant news article and edit the page. Click the Pathway location & content tab and tick the 'feature on ANU homepage / VC blog. The 'home page section' will allow you to label the news article with the relevant tag.
Note that the display order is crucial to get the articles to appear correctly. As generally the older articles don't have their 'feature' tick removed, it is set by display weight. The lowest position will display first. This can be a negative number so if the current first position articled is numbered -47, you can set the next one to -48 to go before the previous

Using promotional messages

Creating a new promotional message
To create a promotional message, please 'add content' from the content hub (or filter from the content hub to find existing ones). Fill out the fields around the content of the promotional message (note that any fields with an asterisk are required. When you are satisfied with the content, you will need to set the scheduling up for it to appear.
Note that you can add multiple display schedules to make a single promotional message appear on multiple pages or have it come on and off at certain times/ dates.
You select the landing page for the promotional message to be displayed upon (either audience campaigns or selected panels). If you are displaying more than one message on the landing page at one time you can use the display order to determine the order of display. Finally, a start date is required but the end date is optional. If left blank the message will be displayed indefinitely.
